Photography: Jen Bierman of Photojenic www.photographybyjen.com The wedding of Michelle and Jeremy is one of my favorites. Why? Well, because Michelle is my niece. I helped care for her when she was a baby. Watching her blossom into a magnificent woman has been a joy. Imagine how proud I was when she announced that she and her long-time fiance were finally getting married. They wanted my associate Veronica and I to plan the wedding and design her florals. Michelle was the easiest bride we ever worked for. She brought us pictures and said this is how I think my wedding should look. These are the colors I want. This is the style I want to capture. She then gave us carte blanche to do anything we wanted. Ah....a wedding planner's dream. We assisted Michelle in choosing her gown, my favorite seamstress made all of the bridesmaids dresses, and we found the perfect venue. Michelle's gown was a sexy Sarah Danielle slip dress. It was adorned with beaded appliques and had the vintage feel she was looking for. Michelle's aunt Edwina, (my sister) had the honor of making a one of a kind bird cage veil to complete her ensemble. Michelle and Jeremy chose The Ebell Club of Long Beach for their ceremony and reception. As you can see from the pictures, her vision of a vintage ceremony with an elegant reception was achieved to perfection. I can't thank my partner in crime, Veronica enough for taking over the day of the wedding. She directed all the vendors, oversaw the set-up and made sure the day flowed flawlessly. She allowed me to enjoy my family, and share in a tender moment in my niece's life. Weddings are a career for me. It was wonderful to experience this one as a guest.
